Your vault, visualised

The intelligence layer your Obsidian vault is missing.

Glia Guru reads your vault, generates AI context files for Claude and Cursor, and syncs through your own Supabase instance. No migration. No lock-in.

Built with Glia Guru

We built Glia Guru to manage multiple AI-driven projects, across several countries.

Every project in one Obsidian vault — architecture decisions, session notes, bug reports, sprint items. No Jira, no Linear, no Notion. Just markdown and frontmatter. The problem was never the vault. It was the archaeology: grepping across directories to reconstruct what matters this week, cross-referencing dates in frontmatter, rebuilding mental context every morning.

Glia Guru eliminated that. Hundreds of hours of lost context and duplicated effort, gone. Cross-project visibility that used to require a full morning review now takes a glance. Then the hand-maintained AI context files disappeared too — no more stale CLAUDE.md, no more .cursorrules that drifts the moment you ship something.

What remains is the vault and the intelligence layer that reads it. Everything else was eliminated.

BYOA architecture

Your infrastructure. Our intelligence.

Glia Guru never records your data. It is a layer on top of tools you already trust, designed to be removable at any moment without leaving residue.

Your data flows into your infrastructure. We provide the logic, not the storage.
01

Your Obsidian Vault

Markdown files on your machine. Glia Guru reads them and writes back cleanly. It never moves, copies, or uploads your vault. Your notes stay exactly where they are.

02

Your Supabase Project

Your database, your auth, your RLS policies. Glia Guru provisions the schema in your Supabase instance. You own the database. Cancel any time and your data is still yours.

03

Our Dashboard Layer

Visual planning, AI context generation, and cross-device sync. The intelligence layer on top of tools you already trust.

How it works

Three commands to your command centre

Step 01

Install the CLI

npm install -g @glia/guru

One command, no config files.

Step 02

Connect your vault

glia init

Point at your vault, authenticate your Supabase, done.

Step 03

Open the dashboard

glia.guru/planner

Your vault is now a project board.

AI context engine

Are you still writing CLAUDE.md by hand?

Glia Guru reads your vault structure, task state, and project metadata, then generates context files your AI coding agents can consume. Works with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, GPT, and Gemini. No more manually maintaining spec files.

  • Syncs via Supabase
  • Context for Claude, Cursor & Windsurf
  • Desktop daemon built with Tauri + Rust

Your vault stays on your machine. Your database stays in your Supabase account. We never store your data.

Built for your workflow

One vault. Every project. Zero context files to maintain.

Monday morning, zero setup

Every task tagged across your active projects is already on a visual board — pulled directly from your vault's markdown files. Drag, prioritise, start the week.

Your AI starts informed

Before you open Cursor, Glia Guru generates an updated CLAUDE.md from your vault's current project state. Your assistant starts the session knowing what changed. No more "Can you describe the project?"

Close your laptop anywhere

Close your laptop in Koh Samui, open your work machine in Bangkok. Dashboard, task state, and AI context files are exactly where you left them — synced through your own Supabase instance.

Catch drift before your AI does

Two projects not updated in 11 days. Three overdue tasks. One README that doesn't match the architecture folder. Fix the gaps in 15 minutes. Your AI assistant stops hallucinating about that project.

Frequently asked

Questions

What is Glia Guru?
Glia Guru is a developer dashboard that connects to your Obsidian vault and generates AI context files — CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, and Windsurf prompts — from your project notes and task history. It syncs state through your own Supabase instance. Your data stays in your vault. Your infrastructure stays yours.
How does Glia Guru work?
Install the CLI, point it at your vault, connect your Supabase project. Glia Guru reads your markdown task files, builds a visual planning dashboard, and generates context files your AI coding agents can consume. Changes in the dashboard write back to your vault as markdown frontmatter.
Is Glia Guru free?
No. Basic is $5 per month for one vault and one machine. Standard is $10 per month for unlimited machines, the AI context engine, and priority sync. There are no per-seat fees and no usage metering.
Does Glia Guru store my data?
No. Your vault stays on your machine. Your database lives in your own Supabase project. Glia Guru is a read-write layer on top of infrastructure you own. Cancel any time and nothing disappears — the vault is still there, the database is still there.
What AI tools does Glia Guru work with?
The context engine generates files for Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, GPT, and Gemini. It is platform-agnostic by design.
How is Glia Guru different from Notion or Linear?
Unlike Notion and Linear, Glia Guru does not store your project data. It reads from your Obsidian vault and syncs through your own Supabase instance. There is no migration, no vendor lock-in, and no per-seat pricing.
Do I need to move my Obsidian vault to use Glia Guru?
No. Glia Guru reads your vault where it already lives. No upload, no cloud copy, no migration. Your vault stays on your machine exactly as it is.
